Menus
Your menu changes over four weeks and is updated with the season. All meals are made using only the freshest ingredients and are delivered chilled, so they are easy to re-heat.
Special needs such as texture modification are easily accommodated and most meals are diabetic friendly.
Delivered meals are only part of your daily intake. To ensure a balanced diet, we encourage you to also have fresh fruit and juice.
Community Chef
Meals are proudly prepared by Community Chef in a state-of-the-art food production facility in Altona. Community Chef is a local government owned social enterprise.
You decide
You can choose to have only one delivered meal per week or up to seven days – it’s up to you.
Your meals are delivered to your home by our friendly volunteers on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
For your safety and peace of mind, all of our staff and volunteers have a current National Police Check.
Fees
Fees for the delivered meals service (previously known as meals on wheels) are very reasonable and are worked out based on your income and in line with the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) Fees Framework.
