Our COVIDSafe Business Support team have been busy helping local hospitality and small retail venues to trade within the current health restrictions.
Business support officers are visiting local hospitality and small retail venues in our region, providing information for businesses on how to keep their staff, their business and their customers COVIDSafe.
Our friendly business support officers are working with local hospitality businesses, community venues and small retailers – including hairdressers, butchers and milk bars – to ensure they can stay COVIDSafe, while also delivering a wide range of information on COVIDSafe practices to the community.
The officers are available to print and deliver COVIDSafe resources and signage in multiple languages and can also support businesses to register and print QR codes, assist with COVIDSafe signage and plans, check-ins and a range of other resources and business support.
They will provide information to our diverse community on the importance of complying with COVIDSafe practices, including information delivered in community languages.
The City has received funding under the State Government $7 million Local Government Business Concierge and Hospitality Support program.
