The Geelong Botanic Gardens are having an open day!
This family-friendly FREE event includes:
- Book signing/meet and greet with Sally Leary, the author for Corio Bay Quest. The new enthralling picture book celebrating and taking you on a journey around Geelong (also featuring the Geelong Botanic Gardens!)
- Local historian, author and ex curator of the Geelong Botanic Gardens, Ian Rogers, will be signing his new book and taking garden tours.
- Guided walks around the gardens
- Discovery tables where you can meet the Botanic Gardens volunteers and see what it is they do.
- Behind the scenes tour of the Botanic Gardens Nursery. This is normally off limits to the public, runs every 30min
- Book Sales
- Plant Sales
- Mini art expo / sales from our Botanic Artists
Bring a picnic or have a cuppa at the Teahouse.
