In 2023, Univers has outperformed its sustainability targets, achieving 100% renewable electricity for its office operations one year ahead of schedule. The company has also made notable progress in reducing its environmental impact, with a 32% reduction in Scope 2 emissions, compared to its 2020 base year, and an impressive 95% recyclability rate for its EnOS
Edge products as certified by its accredited recycling providers.
A cornerstone of Univers’ success is its profound impact on customers as a trusted decarbonization partner. Amidst the global race to triple the world’s renewable energy generation capacity by 2030 and limit global warming to 1.5 °C above pre-industrial levels, Univers has monitored over 6 million tons of carbon emissions, and helped customers abate over 484 million tons of emissions by providing real-time monitoring, actionable insights and control of integrated energy systems. This is equivalent to driving 1.4 million vehicles for a year according to the US EPA’s Greenhouse Gas Equivalencies Calculator.

Additionally, Univers is dedicated to reaching net-zero emissions by 2040, demonstrating its dedication to long-term environmental stewardship.
Univers has also received recognition for its excellence in sustainability practices. The company has been awarded the highest tier Leadership band, achieving an ‘A-’ score from CDP, surpassing industry and global averages in the IT and software development sector. Univers’ inaugural participation in EcoVadis also saw the company placed in the top 35% of firms, affirming its commitment to sustainability.
